Starting July 21, 2025, the way Trailblazers manage their Salesforce certifications and training is getting a major upgrade. Right now, Trailblazers access their Salesforce certification information across multiple platforms. However, Salesforce certification experience is about to change.
Salesforce is introducing a centralized certification experience through Trailhead Academy. It will bring everything you need into one unified hub. Whether you're registering for an exam, reviewing details, or checking your progress, it’ll all be in one place. This includes certifications for Tableau, MuleSoft, Slack, and Accredited Professional as well.
You’ll also get personalized exam recommendations and a 360-degree view of your certification journey. This will make it easier than ever to plan and track your growth! Moreover, Salesforce certification exams will be delivered through a new platform called Pearson VUE.
These changes are designed to make certifications easier to access, more streamlined, and less confusing. That way, you can focus on what really matters: learning, growing, and advancing your Salesforce skills.

Key Dates to Know
- June 30, 2025: Final day to register for exams via Webassessor.
- July 13, 2025: Last day to take exams on Webassessor (no reschedules or completions allowed after this).
- July 21, 2025: New certification and registration experience goes live on Trailhead Academy.
Important Actions
To view your certifications in the new experience, you’ll need a Trailblazer profile. Visit www.trailhead.com to create one if you haven’t already, and be sure to use the same email address linked to your Webassessor account.
Here is how to check if your Trailblazer profile uses the email linked to your Webassessor account.
1- Log in to Trailhead, click your profile picture, then select Settings.
2- Scroll down to Email Accounts and ensure the email linked to your Webassessor account is listed there.
Another important point to consider: if you have a Salesforce certification exam scheduled after July 13, 2025, you’ll need to take action. Either reschedule it in Webassessor for a date before July 13, or cancel it and reschedule through the new experience starting July 21, 2025.

On that same page, you’ll get personalized recommendations for additional courses and certifications, tailored to your learning and certification history. You’ll also have access to a catalog of available classes and certifications, where you can filter and sort by role, product, or skill to find exactly what you need.
When you click on a certification exam, you’ll see key details like content, pricing, languages, role level, and prerequisites. To register, click “Register Now” and choose online or in-person. Then complete your registration with Pearson VUE.
After registering, the exam page will show your exam details and provide prep resources like the exam guide, recommended trails, and related classes.
