Salesforce introduced a new element called Custom Error in the Winter '24 release. This element lets you add custom error messages in record-triggered flows.

It is not possible to make fields required in approval process. This can sound like a simple issue that you can solve using validation rules. However, custom validation rules do not trigger based on approval process actions.

Run Flows is a permission to allow users to run flows in Salesforce. However, in Spring '23 release, Salesforce removed Run Flows permission from the Guest User profile in all orgs.
